Return Policy — Ottawa Boutique

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT OFFER FREE RETURNS. There are associated costs with returns.

Is it possible to return my order?

Yes, it is possible. If you are not satisfied with the items you have ordered, you may return them within 30 days of receipt.

A return must meet the following conditions:

  • The return must include all necessary parts, components, and packaging exactly as the product was received.

  • Damage due to careless handling is excluded; the product must be returned in its original condition.

  • Products where hygiene is important must be thoroughly cleaned before being returned.

  • We reserve the right to charge shipping costs to the customer.

A return will be processed within 7 working days. If the conditions are met, the return will be officially acknowledged within this period.

We reserve the right to refuse returned items if we suspect they have been used or damaged beyond our control.


How can I return my order?

If your order meets the above conditions, please follow these steps:

Send an email to: info@OttawaBoutique.com

Ensure the email includes the following information:

  • Order number

  • Reason for the return request

  • Photo of the product in case of damage

  • First name + last name

  • Customer’s address

We will then contact you and provide you with the return address.
Do not send the return to the sender address. We will provide the correct return address.

The customer is responsible for the shipping costs of the return.


Cancellation

Consumers have a right of withdrawal under the following conditions, provided the consumer is a natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are not predominantly related to commercial or professional activity.

Cancellation Conditions

Order cancellation is possible as long as it is reported to our customer service within 1 hour of placing the order.
After 1 hour, cancellation is no longer possible because the order will already be in processing.


Right of Withdrawal

The withdrawal period is 30 days from the day you or a third party named by you (who is not the carrier) receives the goods.

Because we operate with a fully automated system, orders are processed immediately after being placed. Therefore, we cannot interrupt the shipping process, and refunds upon receipt of the goods are not possible.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Ottawa Boutique) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (for example, by email).
The withdrawal is complete once we receive the returned goods.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.

Please note that shipments originating from Asia may experience longer transit times.

If the goods are already on their way to you, cancellation is not possible. You must first receive the goods and then return them. You may notify us beforehand of your intention to withdraw.

To ensure your return is processed as quickly as possible, please send us a shipping confirmation.


Customs Fees

Please note that return shipments may be subject to customs inspection and additional fees. Any customs duties, taxes, or handling charges from customs authorities are the responsibility of the customer. These costs will not be covered or refunded by Ottawa Boutique.


Damaged or Faulty Items

If you have received damaged or faulty items, please contact our customer service team. Include clear photos as proof and a description of the issue.
If we determine that the issue is our responsibility, we will send replacement items free of charge.


Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, except for delivery costs (including additional costs resulting from choosing a different delivery method than the least expensive standard option offered by us). Repayment will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your withdrawal and have received the goods.

We will use the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed. You will not be charged any fees for this repayment.


Return Address

ALL RETURNS ARE SENT TO OUR CENTRAL WAREHOUSE IN CHINA, AT THE CUSTOMER'S EXPENSE.
